Single for a Season is the name of Gospel of Peace Church’s Single’s Ministry. The purpose of our Single’s Ministry is to encourage and empower Singles of all ages to use this Season of being Single to learn, grow, develop and mature in their relationship with Jesus Christ, our First Love. Everyone starts out being Single, no one is born Married, therefore we all can identify with being Single for a Season at one time or another during our lives. Many Singles feel lonely so they rush into Marriage without the proper tools for Marital Success; thus, creating a worse problem because those who often rush in to Marriage, will often rush out of Marriage when the thrill is gone (emotional high) or when hard times come. This cycle often happens because; they didn’t take enough time to first get to know Jesus as their First Love, If Jesus is our First Love that means we know His Voice clearly and are not led by our emotions, we are led by the Spirit. Secondly, they perhaps didn’t take this time to get to know themselves because how can we truly know others if we don’t even know our own selves and thirdly they didn’t take time to thoroughly get to know the person with whom they were planning to Marry because in Courtship anyone can be nice but it takes Jesus to have Marriage Success. Hear what Jesus said to the woman at the well in John 4:18 “The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband”. Jesus pointed out to her a pattern of her being led by her flesh(emotions) rather than being led by God’s Spirit and this behavior was hindering her Success. This is why we must use the Season we have as Singles to fall in Love with Christ, His Word, so we can get to know His Voice so He can reveal to us things about ourselves that we need to correct, He will also reveal things about those around us and in due Season He will also reveal to us our Marital Partner. GOP Kids for Christ is name of our Children’s Ministry at Gospel of Peace Church. Children are indeed precious and God Loves the Little Children. Jesus wants Children to be taught the Word of God at a young age because the things we learn in our early years will shape and mold a Child’s entire Adult life. The Bible says in Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it”. Our motto for our Children’s Ministry is “Little in Size but Giant in Faith”. The faith of Children can be so great, that they will often believe the things they are taught very easily; This is why as a society we cannot afford to let our Children be taught only secular views such us Evolution, which is taught in most Public Schools and not allow them to be taught the Truth of God’s Word in order to provide them with balance Spiritually and a good Foundation. Jesus said in Luke 18:16 “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these”. Jesus instructs us to let them come, and don’t stop them; these precious ones need to know their Savior at a young age so that when they are older, they will know that drugs, alcohol, violence are promiscuity do not solve problems, they make them worse; Jesus is solves problems and makes life Abundant.

Christian Friends of Israel is an outreach ministry affiliated with Gospel of Peace Church that helps to encourage Christians to support the Nation of Israel and the Jewish People. GOP Youth for Christ is the name of Gospel of Peace Church’s Youth Ministry. The purpose of our Youth Ministry is to teach and mentor young people to Live for Jesus even in a World of compromise and complacency. The Bible instructs the Youth in Ecclesiastes 12:1 to “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them”. Our Youth Ministry prepares young people for the challenges that they will face as Adults and also equips them with the tools to be victorious in every area of their lives. Parents and Guardians are often the last to know about; the peer pressure, conflict with class mates, conflict on the internet or even with friends, the sadness and depression that their own Youth are experiencing. Youth need Jesus Christ because He gives them the Hope and Faith to know that no matter what challenges they face, things will get better and Jesus is the Answer to every need and every situation in life. When we don’t involve our Youth in a Christ-Center environment like Church we leave an opening for them to embrace bad habits from the negative environments that are all around them in our World today. Just as being around a good environment will teach Your good habits, being in a negative environment will teach them bad habit. The Bible instructs us in 1 Corinthians 15:33 “Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” The habits our Youth learn today will shape their lives for tomorrow.

Men of Excellence is the name of the Men’s Ministry at Gospel of Peace Church. The purpose of our Men’s Ministry is to help Men develop and demonstrate the Christ-like Character that is needed in order for Men to experience Spiritual growth in their private, personal, public and professional lives. The book of Daniel teaches us about the Character of the Prophet Daniel in the Bible; Daniel 6:3 says “Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.” Our Churches are greatly needed in order to help to mentor men because there is no greater example than Jesus Christ to teach us what it means to be a man. Our Homes and Families need men to be Providers, Protectors and Promise Keepers, this Wisdom comes from the Word of God and it is must be developed and demonstrated by Christian Men Teaching & Mentoring other Men. to become Men of Excellence. Our Lifestyle Evangelism Ministry at Gospel of Peace Church is made up of members who actively participate in sharing the Good News of Jesus with those in our Community and anywhere we can. Jesus instructs us in Matthew 28:19-20 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” People are hungry for a better Life but many Believers are not taught or Equipped to share the Gospel with others. We as the Church of Christ are called to be a light to the World, a light will attracts people who are in darkness. This how Lifestyle Evangelism works; now that we are saved by Jesus, we must now Go help others who are now living in sin, lack, depression and unbelief just as we once were. It is simple, we must allow the Holy Spirit to led us to Souls to whom God is calling to Repentance and Salvation through Jesus Christ. It is Great to be Saved by the Blood of Jesus and it is also Great to let God use us to help others find the only Way to Heaven, Jesus Christ. Lifestyle Evangelism Ministry is not hard, we are not called to make people accept Jesus, our job is to plants seeds of Truth and water them, only God can make them grow. The Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 3:6-8 “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.”  We are all instructed to Go and share our faith with others; at home, at work, at school, at the mall, in our Community, at dinner and anywhere we Go, we must be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading for us to Share our Testimony of Jesus with others. At Gospel of Peace Church our members are encouraged not to just to be viewers from the sidelines but we are Equipped to be active laborers in God’s Vineyard as One Body in Christ. Great rewards await those who “Go deliver the Good News to all People,” just as Jesus instructs us to do.

Women of Excellence is the name of the Women’s Ministry at Gospel of Peace Church. The purpose of our Women’s Ministry is to help Women to develop and demonstrate the Christ-like Character that is needed for Women to experience Spiritual growth in their private, personal, public and professional lives. Excellence encompasses all the Spiritual qualities that are needed for Women of God such as Virtue, Grace, Honor & Faith. The book of Ruth teaches us about the Character of Ruth in the Bible when Boaz makes this comment to Ruth, “for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman” Ruth 3:11. Women help to shape the future of their children, husbands and family, therefore the Women carry the powerful task of being the Spiritual influencer of the family. God has gifted Women with this great influence to help keep the family anchored Spiritually. The Bible also instructs that these Virtues of Excellence must be demonstrated & taught by Women in the Church in Titus 2:3-4 shows us that “The aged women likewise….. teach the young women”. Christian Women must Teach & Mentor other Women to model the Christ like-Character of Women of Excellence, if we do not mentor them, other Worldly influences will. Our Sunday School of Ministry at Gospel of Peace Church is where our leaders and members are developed, trained and are taught the Biblical principles for Success in a Class setting. Pastor Daniel, our Senior Pastor, began serving God in Sunday School at the age of 12 and has been serving the Lord ever since those early days as a child in Sunday School. At Gospel of Peace Church, we believe that Sunday School of Ministry can make a big difference in anyone’s Spiritual growth. Sunday School of Ministry gives Bible students a chance to experience learning the Word of God in a class setting, with a chance for detailed questions to be asked and individual input from students is encouraged. Starting Kids off at a young age being involved in learning the Oracles of God, is the key to giving them a strong foundation in the Word of God, that will last them a lifetime.

Marriage + Unity = Success is the name of the Marriage Ministry at Gospel of Peace Church. It is most everyone’s desire to have a successful marriage but many couples lack the knowledge needed to help make a Marriage become Strong & Successful. The Bible teaches us the power of people being in agreement, which is Unity, in Amos 3:3 The Word of God says “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” A Good and Pleasant Marriage, comes through unity; in Psalms 133:1 teaches “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in Unity!” The opposite of unity is division and the Bible teaches us in Mark 3:25: “if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand”. Satan is the one who brings division into Marriages, God brings Unity, 1 Corinthians 14:33 says “God is not the author of confusion”’.

Marriages are under great attack in our modern-World today and the divorce rates are at an all-time high. This is because most do not understand that Marriage was and is instituted by God only, not man, and since God created the institution of Marriage we need Him to; define it, join it together, maintain it, strengthen it, and keep it together. In order to have a successful Marriage a person must be prepared for Marriage; this is why Marriage-Prep is a lifelong continuing education because people do change at times and adjustments are needed so that when the Seasons of the Marriage Change, the Core of the Marriage stays the same and the Core is Jesus Christ, the Word of God. A Successful Marriage must be founded on the Word of God, Jesus Christ. The Word of God teaches Men how to be Husbands and teaches Women how to be Wives; The Word also teaches Parents how to raise Children and teaches Children how to honor their Parents. Jesus is the only One who can bring Unity into the Marriage, we are One in Christ, but we must allow Jesus to do what only He can do, only then can we all experience Marriage + Unity = Success.

Our Prayer and Healing Ministry is an important part of Gospel of Peace Church and our Outreach Ministries. We set aside a time during each of our Sunday Worship Services to Pray for the sick and other prayer requests. Healing is a part of the Benefits of being in Christ Jesus, the Bible teaches us in Psalms 103:2-3 “Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.” The Ministry of Jesus Christ was a Ministry that demonstrated the Power of God to meet the needs of the people. Jesus gave this Power and Authority to His disciples, the Church, the Bible teaches us in Luke 9:1-2:” Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick”. Many people don’t believe that God still heals today like He did in the Bible days but the Bible teaches in Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” God does not change, people change and many don’t understand that the main ingredient that is needed to receive from God is Faith. Hebrews 11:6 says “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” The Prayer of Faith Prayer is crucial to the Success of the Born Again Believer in Jesus Christ because Prayer is simply asking God, In Jesus Name, to get involved in ours or another’s situation, and believing that it’s done, The Bible teaches us in James 5;15 “And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him”. God wants you well and He wants you to live an Abundant Life full of Blessings, the Bibles teaches us in. 3 John 1:2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth”. Gospel Peace Church takes these promises from God and we act on the Word of God, the rest is up to God; Praying in Faith is our Part and Healing is God’s part and God always does His part if we Only Believe.
